Featured Program: The Spectacle of Crane Migration

- Believe it or not, the annual stopover of Sandhill Cranes along the Platte River in south-central Nebraska is one of the most spectacular wildlife gatherings in North America, and underrated globally. Our own Kent Skaggs, who lived and worked right in the heart of this spectacle for over 30 years, will provide a look into the life of Sandhill Cranes in the Central Flyway, and why the Platte River is so important to this species during their spring migration.
